Some words of inspiration...

Quote of the Month: Fashion is a profound and critical part of the social life of man as sex, and is made up of the same ambivalent mixture of irresistible urges and inevitable taboos - Rene Konig

Miu Miu´s Fashion Film

Miu Miu´s the Powder room part of "Women´s Tales" is deep.
Created by Zoe Cassavetes (first female director to do a fashion film) Focuses on (obviously) Miu Miu´s Spring Summer 2011 collection. Models like: Caroline de Maigret, Line Gost, Sophie Vlaming and Audrey Marnay appear in the Claridge´s powder room.
Here is what she Had to say about it:
'I love the idea of a powder room, the ritual which takes place within them is very important for women,' explains Cassavetes. 'There’s something special about preparing yourself, a moment before the action takes place. I love the sense of intimacy. It’s a place away from men, where you can check out other women, and re- glamorise yourself ready to face the world again.'
At first i didn't get it all that much, but after reading what Cassavetes had to say, i watched again and it make sense, its actually really deep.
